Planning:
We used the lyrics to help us plan out what sense we wanted within our video. It allowed us to match the visuals with the lyrics which is typical of pop music videos, so that the audience have a clear understanding of the narrative. We found that analysing the lyrics was much more effective than creating a storyboard. This helped us to plan our narrative as our music video is narrative based, we needed a clear story. Analysing the lyrics allowed us to create the story and have a solid base to work on.
